Within walking distance Parklands Restaurant, where you can have lunch. We appreciated our time at the hotel, thank you. Nice beds in the rooms.

It was a very nice place to stay. We had stayed at 2 other hotels in the week previous to staying here and this hotel felt the most like home. It also had a great kitchen with every thing we needed. It was comftable and warm. The owners were very nice and full of information about the area. Great place to stay. Would return.

The hotel is showing signs of its age now and as a result the comfort levels are fairly basic.

The en suite facilities were very basic, with missing fittings, eg nowhere to put soap or shampoo in the sink/shower.

Hosts were friendly and helpful. Electric blankets were on when we arrived late - brilliant welcome. Unit was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The two girls were really happy with the spa and pool area - so left me in peace! A great break skiing. Hosts were able to put us in the right direction for everything we needed for the mountain.

Very helpful and friendly owners. We had rang earlier to arrange a portable cot to be set up in the room for our arrival and the heaters on. Our requests were granted so when we arrived near bed time for the children (6y, 3y, & baby) they had nice warm rooms waiting with a cozy bed for our baby. The kids were able to settle fast and go to sleep without any fuss. The kichen was great and the beds comfortable. I was impressed with how clean the place was too. My husband and the kids really loved the spa, especially when the fairy lights came on.

The owners were very attentive, the room was pretty good with a massive comfy bed. The heating system was excellent.

We were plesantly surprised by the Anglers Paradise Motel. The king sized bed was comforable, the room was warm and quiet and the service was great.

The decor was dated and there was no Sky TV but that was more than compensated for by what we liked.

Nice peaceful motel, in a great location near Lake Taupo and Tongariro National Park. Staff/owners were very helpful and pleasant. Motel very nice inside, felt very comfortable.

Very well placed to visit the Tongariro National Park. The room was very well equipped and very clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

No heating available in the room. Avoid making any reservation with Turangi Alpine Shuttles through the motel as they were unreliable coming one hour later than agreed.
